Nestled into the shadow of the famous Dentelles moutain range and behind the picturesque town of Seguret is the breath-taking winery of Domaine de Mourchon.
The winery was started in 1998 by the McKinlay family who came from the UK in search of a better life. Having found a parcel of vines they believed to be special, they set out on an ambitious take – with no winery, and no winemaker to speak of.
Now, the wines of Domaine de Mourchon are a true jewel in the Southern Rhone, and despite producing exceptional red wines that buyer Marcel Orford-Williams regularly stocks, they have achieved something most impressive – structured, balanced and delicious rosé wines from the traditional local grape varieties.
Join Kate McKinlay for an International Rosé Day special, as she talks you through the story of her family’s beautiful estate and shares the joys and challenges of the pretty pink stuff.
Please grab a glass and join us if you can with the perfect way to start the weekend.
