We invite you to discover what makes Vallone’s range of wines so special – the terroir, indigenous grape varieties and winemaking techniques that feature in the wines that have become firm favourites amongst Wine Society members.
Agricole Vallone only started bottling its own wines in the 1990s but their flagship wine, Graticciaia, has quickly moved from a wine with a cult following to being admired around the world. Utilising mats to partially dry the negroamaro grapes, Graticciaia acts as a true standard-bearer for the potential of wines from the southern regions of Italy.
Whilst tasting along is not mandatory, when the wines are as delicious as these, we can’t see why you wouldn’t pop open a bottle of one of the options below and taste as you watch!
Specific wines to be discussed:
Brindisi Rosato Vigna Faminio Vallone 2019
Salice Salentino Riserva, Vallone 2016
Brindisi Rosso Vigna Flaminio, Vallone 2017
Graticciaia, Vallone 2013
