"Warning:
I opened a bottle of this lovely fizz for a family Zoom meeting.....it made an unusual booming sound...I thought that the Bolly flavour coming through....it was not....it was a bottle that was not much more than half full. Of course I did not discover this for nearly an hour. So beware...check the bottle before opening, you can get your money back.
Of course I will continue to buy it"

"A superb non-vintage Champagne, full bodied and toasty. Must be my favourite. Can be drunk on its own but goes well with food. Excellent value for money!"

"Belonging to the Society for quite a number of years, it took me a while to understand the full range of preferences that existed within the membership. For example, some prefer their Champagne light and virtually ethereal, some with a lemony tinge and so on and so forth!! I have tasted many, many Champagnes from the undrinkable to the utterly sublime, some less than a tenner and a scant few at stratospheric prices. Bollinger is the NV which suits me perfectly, it has the fullness of body that I love, that biscuity nose that always delivers and when good things happen (6N's Grand Slam!!) is a perfect way to celebrate. I bought a case of bottles last Christmas for cellaring with the Society as I do think that a little extra bottle age does no harm at all. I will say that I currently do buy halves from a supermarket at a very good price. If only the Society had the Christmas prices all year, I for one would purchase. I thoroughly and unreservedly recommend Bolly to my fellow members, and before you ask I have tasted the Society's Champagne as well as Boizel, Taittinger and Vilmart more recently, they did not do it for me!! "Robust and full-bodied -- this is probably the biggest bodied NV champagne other than Krug. Very pleasant lees-y nose, with fresh green apple backing it up. Slightly oxidative character adding textural complexity, likely thanks to the oak. An excellent buy if on sale, but I tend to prefer the Pol Roger NV Reserve (in the UK). Otherwise somewhat pricy. "

"Got to be my favourite under £100 a bottle. We shared a few bottles between 7 of us a few days ago and all agreed that this was the best."
